The Dean of Al-Huda University College Participates in a Scientific Seminar on Choosing the Optimal Antibiotic
Professor Dr. Omar Abdul Kareem Jassim, the Dean of Al-Huda University College, participated in the scientific seminar titled “Scientific Approaches to Choosing the Optimal Antibiotic,” organized by the College of Medicine at the University of Anbar in collaboration with the Iraqi Society for Infectious Diseases and several universities and health institutions.
The seminar was also attended by Dr. Ismail Taha, Head of the Pharmacy Department, Dr. Salim Al-Mawla, Head of the Medical Laboratory Technology Department, Dr. Mohammed Obaid, a faculty member in the Medical Laboratory Technology Department, as well as a group of distinguished academics and specialists.
The seminar focused on modern scientific foundations for selecting antibiotics, with an emphasis on their rational use to reduce bacterial resistance. It also highlighted the importance of collaboration between academic and health institutions to support the quality of education and medical services.
