The Department of Pharmacy at Al-Huda University College Participates in the Largest International Pharmacy Conference and Exhibition (IPA 2026)

In a distinguished academic presence that reflects its scholarly standing and leadership in the pharmaceutical field, the Department of Pharmacy at Al-Huda University College participated on Friday, 30 January 2026, in the largest international pharmacy conference and exhibition in Iraq, the International Pharmacy Association Conference (IPA 2026). The event was held in the presence of the President of the Iraqi Pharmacists Syndicate, Dr. Haidar Fouad Al-Saiegh, along with a select group of prominent figures and experts in the pharmaceutical sector.

The first day of the conference witnessed the participation of Dr. Maha Suleiman, Rapporteur of the Department of Pharmacy, accompanied by a number of third- and fourth-year students. This participation underscores the department’s commitment to integrating academic instruction with practical application and to enhancing opportunities for direct engagement with the latest scientific developments in the field of pharmacy.

During the event, students were introduced to the most prominent and up to date pharmaceutical disciplines and attended specialized scientific workshops addressing advanced topics in pharmaceutical practice, modern technologies, and prospects for professional development. Such activities contribute to refining their scientific skills and enhancing their readiness for the labor market.

This participation aligns with Al-Huda University College’s strategic vision of engaging with major scientific events at both the national and international levels, and of contributing to the preparation of a promising generation of pharmacists equipped with knowledge and expertise, capable of keeping pace with the rapid developments in the healthcare sector.
