The Women’s Affairs Unit at Al-Huda University College Hosts a Scientific Seminar on “The Role of University Students in Advancing the Women, Peace, and Security Agenda 1325”


On the morning of Tuesday, 9/12/2025, the Women’s Affairs Unit at Al-Huda University College, in collaboration with the Human Rights Foundation, organized a scientific seminar addressing the role of university students in supporting the Women, Peace, and Security agenda.


The seminar highlighted the importance of promoting women’s participation in peacebuilding and decision-making, as well as the role of university youth in spreading a culture of empowerment and raising awareness about the contents of UN Security Council Resolution 1325. This initiative aligns with the college’s vision of engaging students with socially impactful issues.

The event witnessed strong attendance from students and faculty members, and included in-depth discussions that reinforced understanding of the positive role of youth in supporting women’s issues and promoting the principles of peace and stability.
